Garden party is the toast of Hampstead

Hampstead Synagogue held its annual garden party at the home of Chair Madeleine Abramson. Sadly bad weather meant the 70 plus members who attended enjoyed their afternoon tea indoors. They were entertained by accordionists Chazan Shlomo Gerzi and member Maurice Samuelson who played a variety of popular, jazz and Jewish music both contemporary and from over the years. The entrance fees together with a raffle raised several hundred pounds which will be used for the Synagogue's charitable purposes.
