Jewish News online editor visits Hampstead

Last Shabbat at Hampstead Synagogue, Dennington Park Road we were privileged to have been given a pre-Kiddush Talk by Jack Mendel, the online editor of the Jewish News. He detailed his role on the paper and explained how the news was gathered and then presented in a form for publication. When asked if he considered that the current increase of information on social media was likely to put papers out of print he said that in his opinion this was unlikely to happen. His talk was well received by all present.
