The United Synagogue is excited to announce a new student Bet Midrash programme to run on Monday and Thursday nights from November, in proud collaboration with Bnei Akiva, Mizrachi and Kinloss.
The Monday Student Bet Midrash – separate for men and women, both with nosh and a shiur – is mainly for students wanting to grow in learning and to learn with a chavruta.
The Thursday Night Bet Midrash, with dinner and a top speaker* is an opportunity for Youth Directors and students to share their learning with secondary school pupils.
• Discuss Jewish stories (Hebrew and English)
• “Make Your Own Learning”
• Use our mekorot to prepare divrei Torah with your youth
Both nights:
• At Kinloss (Beit Hamidrash entrance at the back of the building)
• Two standalone parts: 7:45pm for learning and 9:00pm for shiur (maariv at Kinloss is 7.30pm).
• Free
*Tonight's speaker is Lady Deborah Kestenbaum. Our first Thursday Night Bet Midrash speaker was Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis.
