Volunteering Opportunity - House of Life Welcome Host

This coming spring and summer the House of Life will be organising and hosting events at Willesden Jewish Cemetery and the local area. We are building a team of volunteer hosts to welcome and orientate our visitors.
Volunteer Hosts have a vital role to play in inspiring our visitors and helping them to learn more about Willesden Jewish Cemetery in an interesting and enjoyable way.

Key responsibilities:
• Provide a warm, friendly welcome to all, especially to first-time visitors.
• Learn about Willesden Jewish Cemetery and the House of Life project.
• Help visitors to discover more by answering questions and pointing them in the right direction.
• Share your enthusiasm for the cemetery, its history and importance.
• Maintain a level of visitor supervision.
• Feedback experience to allow us to learn and amend our programmes.

What we are looking for:
• An enthusiastic and friendly manner.
• Someone who enjoys meeting people.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Reliable and presentable.
• Enthusiasm for learning about the cemetery and the project.
• Ability to remain mobile and stand outdoors.
• Ability to listen and follow instructions.
