Last Thursday, Young US gave 40 guests the perfect opportunity to let their hair down and relax at an evening of cocktails and candy-making at Spun Candy in Spitalfields.

At the trendy East End venue, attendees enjoyed a hands-on candy-making workshop where they were shown how to make lollipops and were able to personalise their own creations. This event was unique as the workshop was turned into a kosher paradise for one night only with the help of KLBD.

Speaking about the event, one participant, Matt Bernstein said: “I look forward to Young US events as they are different to the usual events. I’ve never had the chance to make kosher candy before and it was an experience that I really enjoyed. I love being a part of the community that Young US is creating and I cannot wait for their next event.”

Young US’ Tamara Jacobson who ran the event commented: “Young US are always looking for interesting and innovative experiences for members of our community such as turning Spun Candy into a kosher workshop for an evening. I’m delighted that guests enjoyed themselves in a relaxed atmosphere whilst meeting new people and hope to be able to keep giving them new and exciting opportunities.”
