Professor Andrew Eder was first elected as a Trustee of the United Synagogue in July 2017. He was re-elected in 2019 and is the lead Trustee for Rabbinic Careers and Development and also Communications.
Having served on the Board of Management at Stanmore and Canons Park United Synagogue for over a decade, Andrew was a Warden and member of the Honorary Executive at Stanmore between 2010 and 2015.
Professionally, Andrew is a dentist in specialist practice in central London. He is also Emeritus Professor at UCL and formerly a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at UCLH and Pro-Vice-Provost at UCL.
Andrew is also a Trustee of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons, on the Medical Advisory Board of Chai Cancer Care and Chair of the Alpha Omega Charitable Trust.
Married to Rosina, they have three children and two grandchildren and live in Stanmore.
