Trustees

Rachel was elected as a new Trustee of the United Synagogue in July 2021.

Rachel grew up in Cricklewood and was a member of Hampstead Synagogue until she married Simon and moved to Stanmore in 1999. Together they have two children in their late teens.

Rachel served a total of 7 years on the council of Stanmore and Canons Park Synagogue, nearly 3 of which were as Vice Chair, and also served on the US Council for 6 years. Professionally Rachel studied Mechatronic Engineering and then pursued a career in IT, which began as a software lead in a media technology company but then changed to freelance to fit around motherhood.

Since 2014 Rachel has also been the managing director of a property company.
