The 17th November was AJEX Shabbat in Kenton, and a moving civic ceremony was held at the end of the morning services, beautifully led by Rabbi Yehudah Black and Dr Robert Brody.

The community was honoured in that Lieutenant Commander Jon Littman of the Royal Navy, who grew up in Kenton, came as a guest and spoke about his work and about the Jewish presence in HM Armed Forces.

A Kiddush was held after the ceremony, in honour of the members of Kenton, Wembley and Willesden branch of AJEX.
